This blog will consist of animals that are in need. I do not personally foster or rescue these animals.. I find out about them through facebook and just want to give them more exposure to increase their chances of getting donations, foster homes, forever homes, etc..

I will also be posting stories that might make some people uncomfortable but this is what's happening EVERY SINGLE DAY EVERYWHERE IN THE WORLD. We need to start opening our eyes!

EMERGENCY SITUATION. PLEASE REBLOG!
This beautiful girl was found earlier today by Home FurEver volunteers. Emaciated and with a large tumor on her belly, she has been rushed to an emergency vet. She is in dire need of help, and we need your help to help her! If you can donate any amount, whether it be $1 or $50, please send it to Goldie’s chipin here.
While looking for another dog, this beautiful, older, female, chow mix asked for help. She is emaciated and has a large tumor on her belly. We are taking her to the emergency vet now. She will need a quiet, loving foster home to recover. We will need help with her medical bills and a foster home. UPDATE:

Emaciated chow mix found on Dickerson and Loretto today. She weighed 17lbs when i took her to the vet. She probably should weigh at least 40lbs. She has a tennis ball size growth on her lower belly and I don’t think she can hear. She appears to be quite old. Please spread the word. Just to run tests to see if she is heartworm positive and have bloodwork done and the growth looked at is going to be $173.00. Details to come after we hear from the vet what the growth is. Fightin’ dog Words. I’m just a dog but do you know what they make me do? They make me fight the other dog, until his life is through. This isn’t what I would choose. I was just taught this way, and i am so very sorry is all that I can say. They made me kill my brother. He kind of looked like me. I never wanted to do it, it’s just the way it had to be. My brother never stood a chance. I was big and tough and mean . It was either I did the killin’, or he’s tortured by the human being. I’ve fought too many fights to count, and I never wanted to fight one. But the minute i don’t fight no more, my life, it will be done. They will kill me one way or another, or sick the pack on me…. and when that moment finally comes at last, i will be free. -Savana Frame

Who wants to be a HERO today ???

I saw these two boys on Craigs List being given away for free . I called the # and spoke w the man who owns them ,who had no idea what a BAD idea giving them away for free on CL was anyways long story short -I asked him if he would let Stellas Hope help place his dogs so they dont end up in the wrong hands -He and his family dont want to give them up but feel they deserve better as they are being left alone 12-14 hours a day ..NO NASTY COMMENTS or I will DELETE them - What we need to do is find a FOSTER or FOREVER HOME for them ASAP - Both dogs according to the owner are very happy loving dogs that get along w everyone - one is a 1.5 yr old pure bred yellow lab neutered chipped and UTD on shots the other is a 2.5 yr old pure bred Rottweiler he is also neutered chipped and UTD on shots - PLEASE EMAIL Me if you can FOSTER these boys or if you would be interested in adopting one or both - THANK YOU -stellashope@gmail.com

Rescued animals aren’t broken. They’ve simply experienced more than other pets. If they were human, we would call them wise.
They would be the ones with tales to tell and stories to write….animals dealt a bad hand, but who responded with courage.
Don’t pity a rescued animal…..ADOPT ONE! And be proud to have their greatness by your side.

i’m a dog at the shelter and i’ve got a sad story to tell most people don’t know… it but it’s something we know well…. when our time is up here at the shelter and they say they can’t keep us anymore.. they take us to a metal box.. and in our face, they slam the door… the dogs begin to worry and the puppies are looking to their mom she just licks their little faces and tries to keep them calm.. the silence is finally broken and smoke it fills the air we’ll suffocate one by one does that really seem fair? we usually bunch up in a corner just scared and knowing death is near but after this torture of the gas chamber death is nothing that they fear. -by- Savana Frame This is both one of the saddest and most powerful photos I’ve seen, a shelter dog’s last moments on earth in a gas chamber just before the gas is turned on.
